My favorite joke was the racist one...

Feels like a newgrounds classic

I truly love the whole background between those two. They seem to spend way more time together than they should. Also laughed my ass out when they were like

"You owe me for that whore I bought you at SF"
"She's not a whore! She loves me!"

Anyway, good stuff

I had a hard time getting the controls but it's because i'm note very good at game so no worries about that

The visual feedbacks are great but the game feels a bit boring simply because it doesn't have
- Music that adapts on what you do
- A way to restart fast

The game doesn't ask for mouse and keyboard control yet when you die, you have to get your mouse and click on the thing whereas a simple hotline miami R button to restart right away would be cool. Basically in a game where you die a lot and restart a lot, you should be able to quickly get back in business

There's a lot of music you can use for that type of arcade game here on newgrounds. Just have a main menu music and a bunch of cool song when you play that gets muffled out when you're dead and the game will feel a lot more amazing

Background and tiles are not very interesting, try to find a few variation and some decoration that could happen so you don't feel in an empty space (most of the screen doesn't provide any information right now) you could even use some decoration to provide information to the player about what's to come on several playthroughs

Lastly it would be cool if enemies that die leaves blood or something behind when they die so you can feel good about what you do...

Finally since there is such a big array of movement, make sur you can use some movements to go on alternative paths, this way you can use more of the screen in an interesting way. Feel free to use verticality, to have to use some move to get in unique places, that kind of stuff.

And finally I would make it so you can magnitically attract money towards you. And, I go beyound simple feedback, I feel it would be cool to have a combo system that would multiply that currency by how many jumps, and kills and stuff you have at the moment

Also I didn't go far but since it's a roguelike and I suggested alternative path, make so those path can be a merchant, a healing spot or stuff like that, like you would see in a roguelike but in the forever running category you know?

Hope i'm not too harsh and all this helps out

Wow this is a very nice feedback bro. Thank you! You are right in everything. I was thinking in make the alternative paths for the store and so. A friend told me the same about the mouse after die or complete a level. I have other tiles but i was wondering if in the firsts level should change it or after 5 or 3 levels. Then the idea i have is add more shooting styles and abilities to the store. And more enemies that variates over the areas. I also have sprites for decoration but i didn't use them yet. And for the music, i want to ask to my cousin to make it.

Thanks a lot for you feedback. It helps me a lot :D

I enjoy the game but as someone that overthinks things. And got stuck pretty quickly. I'm having some questions already.

To me the concept is ultra cool and not much more work is needed. But the feedback aspect of the game to me is the thing that is the most lacking. Also some stuff is a bit weird when it comes to come design.

First thing is the fact that on the first level, your character fires automatically and will always hit and never miss... What it means is that no matter what, the player will always finish the level in a set amount of time... Then why not making it about surviving that amont of time and play around the very entertaining music to make the game rythm more easy to grasp for player and not having them wondering about something they don't have control upon anyway?

The second thing to me is feedback. To me the game feel and style is good about what's going to happen to you. But you don't have a very good read in advance about where some part will move. And sometimes you will just be in a safe situation where it's impossible to avoid the danger. If you don't want your game to be die and retry to learn. Well... That shouldn't be a thing, even if it's a lot of information in the screen. Without you having to fire. If the hurting pieces say in rythm what they're about to do. It might improve the game quality when it comes to player reaction time and stuff. For instance, just knowing in which direction a cross is going to rotarte toward would make it less unfair for a first run. Or even better. An indication that the thingy will in fact rotate.

Oh hey, I just realised if you keep rotating in a direction that your character shoot faster and so the shooting mechanic makes more sense now. Well you could go either way with that. But one thing I'd say is to make it clear that something happens if you don't change direction. Like a beep going faster and faster before your character sprint and it gets interrupted if you change direction.

I keep my first WRONG comment about the bullet firing just to show how my playthrough went. With that mechanic the game is way easier as I understood as well that you don't lose ALL momentum when switching direction but just a little bit and you can be conservative with your velocity.

All those points being made, the game is really cool, very arcady. I don't know in which artistic direction you want to go but if it is minimalism you want to get, well this is great. Even though the main menu lack the personality of the one level we got here, it is still very juicy how you can interact with your one button. The feedback for just that one input from the player is very well served and the game manage to be exciting which is no easy task. And the music rocks.

Gratz guys, keep up the good work!

It has been so long since I played a game on this website... This is so cool!
